Valley View Lodge

Artists lodge with delightful views over stunning forestland. Valley view is a cozy and peaceful retreat that offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The lodge is located in close proximity to the charming town of Barnstaple, which is known for its rich history and vibrant culture. Guests can easily explore the town's many attractions, including its museums, art galleries, and local markets.

The lodge itself is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience, with cosy rooms and modern amenities to make guests feel right at home. There are 2 en suite bedrooms. From here you can access a first floor balcony which is a good spot for watching the varied local birdlife. The ground floor offers a sociable open plan kitchen/dining/living area. There is  also an additional downstairs bathroom.

  • Splendid stay in your cosy cottage! Perfectly equipped base in a great location. Really enjoyed exploring the Devon coast and surrounding towns. We will be back!

  • Loverly stay here. The bed was so comfortable and divine, so big. What a view, particularly this time of year with the wintry sunshine on the autumn colours. Good places to visit like the Tarko Trail. Great food at the Boathouse at Instow. It might be best to book to get a table. Fantastic view from the restaurant. We will be back!
